The challenge

Medical Management Reports provide information about the following programs:
- Utilization Management and Case Management
- CareAdvocate
- Health Improvement Programs
- Perinatal Health Improvement Programs
- MedCall
Each program has a set of reports grouped together within Section X of the SRP. These reports are designed to incorporate Medical Management program information with a clients funding arrangement, Product Family, WGS 2.0 Membership and Claims.
- To Design the reports (Tabular, Graphical and Narrative) as per the client requirements.
- To build the queries dynamically in reports.
- To tune the queries to improve the performance of the reports.
The Solution
We used Packages at back end to build queries dynamically in reports
Used Global Temporary Tableconcepts for better performance and Fine-tuned the reports by implementation of the 9i advance concepts of tuning.
